The Amazing Power of Muscle!
The other day, I mentioned that I had found terrible before & afters of me that I was not proud of from 2009. Some people asked me to post, but as I am not proud of them - I explained I would not post them.
It got me thinking though… I am very proud of where I am now. I am also very proud at how I got here. I found a picture from 2009 when I was 120. This is not my heaviest, but this is the weight I jumped around in college (as high as 130 and as low as 100). Did you also know that I currently weight 119? Back then, my body fat percentage was probably quite high. While I was a healthy weight (and obviously still am), the above pictures demonstrate the amazing/drastic/ridiculous difference that muscle can make.
Before at 120, I would wear a size 7/9 in pants.
Now at 119, I wear a 0/2.
Crazy talk!
But really, it isn’t. Muscle is an amazing thing. Eating healthy, and eating in general, is an amazing thing. You can make your metabolism and body work for you, and not against you. Harness any fears and insecurities you have into shear power and you will be amazed at what you can create.
This is unbelievable. So amazing. Truly a big inspiration.
Wow. Only a 1 pound difference!!

I don’t get people on this website, I honestly do not.
I am a very light Arab Muslim and although I am technically a person of color, it’s easy for me to pass as something else. I could be Italian or Greek.. or just another white dude for all anyone…
